Privacy policy

This policy describes how the operator of GPU Sold collects and uses personal information on https://gpusold.com. It is written for a US audience. If we later target the EEA or UK we will add a transfer addendum before doing so.

What we collect

• Account and deal data: email, name, shipping address, payment handle, offer IDs, messages.
• Item data: model, serial, photos, condition answers, bench results.
• Device and log data: IP, user agent, pages, approximate location from IP.
• Marketplace comps we pull through vendors (for example a sold-listings API). Those rows are about public listings, not about you, unless you also sold that listing.

How we use it

To run the tape, price an offer, inspect an Item, pay you, prevent fraud, comply with law (including secondhand-dealer or tax reporting), and improve the Site. We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use your photos to train a public generative model.

Sharing

We share with processors who host the Site, send email, issue labels, move money, or supply sold-listing data. We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-ZZXTL0FQ0F). Google receives page views, device data, and an approximate location so we can see which GPU pages people open. Google’s own terms apply to that processing. We share with carriers on a label. We share with law enforcement when required or when we reasonably believe an Item is stolen. We may transfer data in a sale of the business.

Retention

Deal, serial, and payment records are kept at least seven years or longer if a dispute or legal hold is open. Server logs are typically 90 days. You may ask us to delete marketing contacts. We may keep what we need for fraud, tax, and title records.

Your choices (US)

Email legal@gpusold.com to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to appeal a denial. If you are a California resident you may request know/delete/correct and we will not discriminate for that request. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those words are used in the CPRA for cross-context ads. If that changes we will post a Do Not Sell link.

Cookies

We use cookies or local storage that are necessary to run the Site (security, load, your form), plus Google Analytics cookies. You can block cookies in the browser or use Google’s ad/analytics controls; the tape will still load.

Children

The Site is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

We use HTTPS and limit who can see deal photos. No method of storage is perfect. Do not send passwords or full payment-card numbers through the sell form.
